Published for http://anurag-live.blogspot.com/
Friends, we all are aware of the standard of SSC regarding each and every exam. It is not particular about Stenographer exam but I am considering all types of exams whether it is SSC CGL, MTS, 10+2 (DEO, LDC) or JHT. Be it any exam, SSC is keeping and trying to make maximum efforts to have a standard for which it is well known.

SSC Stenographer Skill Test, Written Exam :

Dear friends, now SSC Stenographer Exam is about to happen. After 2 months, results of written exam will be declared and then, there will be anticipation of skill test. Skill Test for SSC Stenographer generally conducted within 2 months after declaration of written exam result. So, here most of the students gets ready for it.

Many students rush to the nearby Steno institutes and pray to God. Well, this is not the accurate approach at this stage. A stenographer needs to be very vigil and dedicated to his selection process. He very well knows the hurdles and difficulties which will be coming in the way and he needs to go through them. So, rather running for skill test at the last moment. He used to attend the skill test classes on daily basis. He attends them, learn new tricks, learn keywords, make his outlines more crisp and clear. He has to make thing arranged in such a way that once he is nominated in the written exam, he should not rushed heavily. Rather he should be calm and prosper in the right direction with full honesty.

Tips for cracking SSC Stenographer Skill Test :-

Well, As I have earlier told that one needs to be very hardworking, vigil and dedicated all the time until he clear the exam and make his name in the merit list. He should not take burden or stress of any kind. He should be free and refrain from all kinds of anomalies.

If you are preparing for SSC Stenographer exam, you are well aware that you are putting your efforts in this very exam for the last 1-2 years. Every year, SSC takes this exam and if you are not selected, one full year is waste. You will wait for the next year. We all know how painful is this. (पर क्या करें, दोबारा तैयारी करनी ही पड़ेगी )

Friends, if you are lucky enough then you will make it to the skill test. Once nominated for skill test. Just prepare well. Learn your tricks, prepare outlines and practice.....practice.....and practice a lot. Jaan laga do yaar.....

Once your admit card is issued, read the instructions thoroughly. Do not skip a point. After that, get yourself acquainted with the directions issued to you via admit card. Be ready for your day.

Here, I have seen many people that they do not take proper sleep a night before the exam. So, I would request all the steno lovers, please get enough sleep before the exam because once your mind is relaxed you will perform better. (वैसे भी एक रात में कुछ नहीं हो पाएगा अगर एक साल में नहीं कर पाए तो )

On the next day, go to exam centre with cool mind. Wait for the announcement of your batch and do not get nervous. Do not pay heed to guys talking about difficulty level of exam and all other things. Just be cool.

While dictation is going on, try to be calm. Even if you are not able to write the dictation, be calm at your place. Do not disturb others. Once dictation is over, consult the mentors at the centre if you faced any problem. SSC Stenographer skill test dictation is a 10 minute process for both C and D grades. So In those 10 minutes, your destiny will depend heavily.

While transcribing the dictation on computer in the lab, be confident about your outlines and try to fast but steady. Do not judge others. Just do your work. Have faith in your content which you have written. Do not think about what others are typing. Do not think about the speed of person sitting besides you. You never know whether he is typing right or wrong. Only result will tell you. Try to complete the whole passage in 30-35 minutes for Grade D and approx. 30 minutes for grade C. Rest 10 minutes, go through the passage carefully, put commas wherever you feel is necessary. Check spellings. Do not read whole passage again it will consume the time.

So, this is how you will conclude the SSC Stenographer Skill Test. This was my little experience which I would like to share with you all. Have faith in yourself. Have courage and dedication.
