SSC CGL 2016 Examination Notification Out - Apply Online before 14 March 2016

SSC CGL (Tier - I) 2016 Notification 

SSC - Staff Selection Commission has issued the employment notification for Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination 2016, for the appointments to various Central Government Posts.

Last Date to Apply : 14th March, 2016 (upto 5 PM)
  

Part - 1 Registration Last Date : 10th March, 2016

Part 2 Registration Last Date : 14th March, 2016

This time SSC has amended the notification as per New Government Rule especially for the post of Assistant in CSS. SSC has changed the nomenclature from Assistant to Assistant Section officer with GP 4600 /-. However, GP is still same.

  1. Assistant section officer is same as assistant previously ? please help me. earlier, it was assistant in css but now it has been changed. What's the change pleae tell....I am filing the online application for cgl 2016

    1. Yes, that is the same post as it was earlier. Recently DoPT has made changes in the nomenclature of various posts. Assistant is now termed as Assistant Section Officer.
