   plz tell me.. whats the benefit of shorthand in private sector and in which department more chances of promotions

     Promotion is same in all departments. However, Income tax Department is considered to be a good option but it is a transferable job. Unlike delhi’s CSSS Cadre, where you will be posted in Delhi for the lifetime.

   i have complete knowledge of stenography but despite of that i was not able to pass written test.do you have any other option where written test is not hard as ssc because the cutt off of ssc is very high.stenography test is not problem but written test is.do you suggest any other government steno job where wrotten test is not hard as ssc’s test?????

     Try High Court Steno Exams, there are no such criteria. Only you hve to pass the exam with atleast 50% marks. Then, appear for skill test. You can also go for defence examinations which occors from time to time like BSF ASI (STeno) Exam, CISF (ASI Steno)….etc.

   thanks for your suggestion. high court is very good option but i am from delhi so i think bsf and cisf is not a good option for me because i think u have to move from delhi for that.

   Thank so much for this much needed info… Dear Sir can you please list all major govt. offices where I can apply for steno job just like you mentioned few above in comments; in an order as best job at the top and worst at the bottom e.g. high court, BSF ASI (STeno) Exam, CISF (ASI Steno) and if possible please mention which of these doesn’t place us outside Delhi. It will be great help if you could also provide me the application form out dates for the same.
