Are you appearing for competitive examinations conducted by SSC, UPSC or any other recruitment board. Are you worried about the scores which you had earned in previous attempt and wants to score more, then this article might help you a lot. Today, I am giving some useful tips and tricks, so that you can score more in your examinations. One thing I want to make clear is - Don’t waste your time in worrying and too much thinking. Don't indulge yourself in building new strategies for clearing an examination. An examination is conducted just to check your productivity. They are only try to get a person who can come handy at the situations wherever is needed. So, just relax and pay attention to these few simple points.

  1. Revise main point, your notes & brief summary. During exam time set your time according to your exam. Attempt all question. Short question must be attempted first because these questions increase your score. Improve your calculation speed because calculator are not allowed in exam.
  2. Be confident – Relax your mind when you start preparation for exam with cool mind. Make patience at all stages.
  3. Be regular – If you started your study don’t be disturb, don’t be late & be regular. Whether you are doing self study or you have joined some tutorial class, Please try to be attentive and never get late for the class.
  4. Time management - Maintain a time according to your exam. Prefer to study in morning time. If not possible due to whatever reason, try in the evening hours. Always set a time in your mind, before going to sleep. Better to take help of a alarm. Don't be lazy when alarm rings in the morning, just remember your expectations and get ready for study.
  5. Accuracy – You need to be more accurate and faster when you attempt your Question with accuracy.
  6. Attempt all questions – Attempt all question. Short question must be attempt first because these questions increase your score in exam. In exam completed all question in time. After reading the paper set the time for every question.
  7. Get Familiar – Read the paper carefully. Read every question three times. After reading the paper your half paper solves at a time and you did your question easily and quickly. I know many candidates might be thinking of time duration available for solving the paper. Yes, it is of 2 hrs or more as per exam, but in those 2 hrs, you must be accurate. The recruitment board is not expecting the candidates to solve all 200 questions, What they are expecting is the accuracy and your knowledge of concept.
  8. Check paper – After solve every question you check your paper and try to find out any mistake.
  9. Darkening the Ovals : This is one of the most important thing which we have to remember. Always try to darken the ovals in OMR Sheet in given time. It is very necessary to have a good watch with you, so that you can compute the exact time. Many candidates forgot to darken the ovals in OMR sheet just because of bad time management. Please try to make a good habit of this.
Lastly , If you concentrate and in proper way, follow all these point and start your study with hard work you are definitely successful in your exam and get a high score in exam.
